- 1 cup sourdough discard
- 1 cup cheddar cheese finely shredded
- 4 tbsp butter melted
- 1 tbsp coarse salt divided
Preheat oven to 375º F
In a large bowl, mix together sourdough discard, cheddar cheese, butter, and about 1/3 of the sea salt until well combined.
Pour mixture onto a parchment lined cookie sheet and using a spatula, spread mixture as thinly as possible. The thinner the cracker the crispier it will be!
Once spread, sprinkle the remaining coarse salt evenly over the top of the mixture.
Place cookie sheet into oven for 8 minutes. Remove sheet from oven and using a knife or pastry cutter, score the mixture in 1" squares to make crackers.
Place sheet back into oven for 12-15 more minutes or until crackers are crispy and starting to turn brown on the top.
Let cool before breaking crackers into pieces. Enjoy!
