The Clock Room: Clock Gallery Wall

This idea started in the most unexpected place – Las Vegas.

Back in January, I was in town to speak at Affiliate Summit West. One evening, we went to an event hosted at a billiards hall just off the Strip. It was a fun night, but what stuck with me the most wasn’t the networking or the pool tables – it was the walls. Every single one was filled with clocks. It was the most incredible clock gallery wall I’d ever seen. Dozens of clocks, big and small, in every style imaginable. I walked out of there completely inspired and knew I wanted a full room of clocks at Pauline Manor.

That’s when the hunt began. I started collecting clocks one by one – some from antique stores, some from thrift shops, others from Facebook Marketplace. I wasn’t after anything fancy or perfectly working. I wanted a collection with charm, character, and a bit of history. As the collection grew, it became clear I needed a dedicated space to build my own clock gallery wall.

We ended up using the smallest bedroom in the house, which we still call Narnia. That nickname came from the massive wardrobe that lives in the room. It’s easily a 500-pound piece of furniture, and it’s been left behind by at least two previous families because no one wants to risk trying to move it down the stairs. Between that and the slightly tucked-away feel of the space, the name stuck.

Narnia turned out to be the perfect place for a clock gallery wall. It’s not a bedroom we use often, but it’s full of personality and now full of clocks too. Each wall is slowly coming to life with its own mix of vintage and modern timepieces. I’ll include a photo from the Las Vegas wall that first inspired me, along with a few shots of how the walls in Narnia are coming along.

It’s one of those fun, unexpected details that make this house feel like ours. And in true Pauline Manor fashion, it’s still a work in progress.

Welcome to Pauline Manor! We’re Mike and Lynsey, and together with our herd of six dachshunds, we’re building a life we love at our 1908 Victorian farmhouse in Northwest Florida. What started as restoring an old house has grown into a microbakery, gardens, beehives, a greenhouse, home apothecary, and more projects than we ever planned. If you love making things from scratch but still appreciate Walmart delivery, you’re in the right place. Around here, we’re all about learning new skills, embracing old traditions, and finding a little more whimsy in everyday life.
