A Wedding to Remember at Pauline Manor

Life sometimes brings surprises that shift our plans, but often those turns lead to the most beautiful moments. Taylor had dreamed of a wedding in 2027, following her sister’s 2026 celebration, but when news of a year-long deployment came, we knew the timing had to change. With only six weeks to prepare, the focus became creating a day full of love, joy, and family. On Friday, June 13th, surrounded by more than a hundred family members and friends, Taylor’s wedding day arrived, and it was everything we hoped it would be.

Getting Ready at Pauline Manor

The day started at Pauline Manor with the bridal party arriving around noon. The house quickly filled with laughter, curling irons, and makeup brushes as everyone got ready together. It was a joyful kind of chaos, the kind that sets the perfect tone for a wedding day.

Later in the afternoon, the groomsmen arrived and settled into another part of the house. Their version of “getting ready” was much calmer and far quicker, which made for a funny contrast to the whirlwind downstairs.

We were lucky to have our favorite photographer, Daisy, capturing every moment. From candid shots of the girls getting ready to quiet moments in between, she managed to preserve all of the excitement and joy of the day. We even spent some time in her old room. It was perfect.

The Ceremony by the Creek

By 4:15, everyone was dressed and ready to leave. The ceremony took place at her dad’s home in Molino, set against the most peaceful little creek. After a week of threatening forecasts, the skies cleared and the rain held off, giving us the most perfect weather we could have hoped for. Taylor and Joey said their vows surrounded by family, nature, and love.

Reception Back at Pauline Manor

Once the ceremony ended, everyone headed back to Pauline Manor for the reception. The 3-D Eats food truck was waiting and served a Friday the 13th-inspired wedding menu that had everyone raving. It was fun, simple, and delicious.

The gazebo was decorated with fairy lights and tulle, creating a soft glow as the evening set in. Solar lights dotted the yard, and bubble machines sent streams of bubbles floating through the air.

The Perfect Ending

As the sun set, sparklers were passed out and guests lined the yard to send the couple off. Taylor and Joey walked hand in hand through two glowing rows of sparklers, cheered on by nearly a hundred family members and friends.

It was a long day, but also a perfect one. Pauline Manor showed once again that she was made for moments like this, filled with love, laughter, and memories that will stay with us forever.
