Drying In The Downstairs

2023 gave us one more gorgeous day to get one side of the house ready for the next step… bricks!

Mike and I spent nearly all day “drying in” the back side of Pauline Manor. This project turned out to be a little bit more than we bargained for once we got into it, but turned into another chance for us to work together as a team and get it done.

We then hosted some friends for snacks and drinks, rang in the East Coast New Year (11 pm our time lol), and called it a night. I barely remember a half-asleep Mike saying “Happy New Year” when the neighbor's fireworks went crazy waking us at midnight It was the perfect way to close out 2023.

2024 has started with a warm, sunny day as well, so I’m spending it sitting on the front steps, sipping coffee and watching the pups play in the yard. Still in awe of this home and how much we have gotten done in just one year. So very excited to see what 2024 holds.
