2023 Recap

Man, what a year.

Here are 148 photos from our first year at Pauline Manor. We may have transformed this house … but Pauline Manor has transformed us. I don’t even recognize the person I was in 2022. Everything has changed and I absolutely love it.

We get asked often how things are going and if we are still working on her… the answer is “every day.” Facebook and Instagram algorithms don’t show every update to everyone (unfortunately) but yes, we’ve continued to work on her nonstop with no signs of slowing down.

Most of the downstairs is complete with the exception of the flooring (last step overall) so we have moved upstairs to get all six bedrooms and two bathrooms finished. The top half of the house's exterior is complete and the bottom half will hopefully be bricked in 2024.

We originally said it was going to be a five-year project… but if we keep the pace we’ve been going, we might be able to do it in half of that. (*insert breathing a prayer right here*) I can’t wait to do one of these videos for 2024.

Thanks to everyone who has helped us in any way this year – from sweat equity to gifting Home Depot cards (lol) to just cheering us on with every post. We appreciate it so much.
