Starting The Greenhouse
The urge to keep this little guy was strong With all of the crazy weather we got a bit behind on cutting the grass in a few areas around the property. Today after work I decided to start cleaning out the greenhouse-to-be while Mike cut the grass around it. He called me over to get this little guy to safety so he could finish. We hung out in the greenhouse for a little while before I put him back exactly where we found him. He happily scampered off into the higher grass.
Getting the greenhouse cleaned out is one of the projects I am the most excited about. It’s HUGE and has so much space for a million seedlings… I can’t wait to plant a million things to share.
We also caught a glimpse of two rather large black snakes underneath the tanks in the greenhouse. I continued to set up the shelving while letting them chill and see I wasn’t a threat but was relieved to see them both slither out the back toward the neighbor's yard. I’ll be working on sealing the greenhouse floors sooner rather than later now
Tomorrow we will go back to working on the fence. Mike got the posts set today so we can start putting the runners and pickets up tomorrow. The goal is to finish by Sunday night. The puppies are very much over having to be on a leash every time they want outside.
Never a dull moment around Pauline Manor.
