New Driveway in 90 Seconds

Things are still rocking along here at Pauline Manor. After what has felt like a solid month of moving boxes and furniture in the rain (read: mud), we got a new driveway put in today – just in time for moving the beds and clothing!

It was a fun process to watch via our Ring cameras. I saved a few and sped them up but honestly, these guys were so quick and the driveway is perfect! There is a second step that will be done when we are closer to the end of construction which will be a more permanent driveway but this works, for now, to level things out and solve some of the mud and standing water.

The inside is getting more and more put together. I’ve moved most all of the kitchen stuff and deciding where everything goes has been kind of comical. There is so much space you would think it would be easy, but the layout is so strange that putting things where it is most efficient is not always the easiest. But I finally have room for all of my zillion little kitchen appliances, so that’s exciting

The biggest struggle we are having is the internet and hopefully, we can get that resolved this weekend. Sadly AT&T is not available yet way up here so we are having to battle Cox and well… let’s just say I’ve had to hotspot off my phone all week just to get any work done. *sigh*

BUT… we enjoyed our first relaxing day when we had friends over to watch the Super Bowl and even had Leia with us. Just a few more weeks until this is home.
