Leia Visits Pauline Manor

The day we have been waiting for finally arrived. Today we got to take Leia to Pauline Manor fir the first time. She absolutely loved it.

We have joked that we bought this house for Leia – our old house had a yard too small for her to truly run full speed as she loves. We've never had a pup quite so enthusiastic about playing fetch, and giving her the space to really run and chase the ball makes Mike and me happy beyond words.

We spent the first hour of the day just letting her play and then she stayed with us as we continued to paint the main floor. She was great except she did not like when one of us went out of her sight.

We then assembled one of the closer organizers for the double master closet. I am pretty impressed with this organizer from Amazon. It went together quickly and holds several hundred pounds of clothing.

Now I can start moving my three closets worth of clothing from the old house and organize it all in one single massive closet. I am so excited!

We’re Mike and Lynsey Kmetz, a couple with five dachshunds and one very big project — restoring a 1908 Victorian we found on Zillow that’s now Pauline Manor. Nestled in Cantonment, FL, it’s where a micro-bakery, garden, and slow-steading lifestyle meet thrifted charm and a whole lot of heart. We’re keeping history alive—one loaf, petal, and project at a time.
